In my over 20 years of experience in the construction and architecture design industry I have noticed the most common complaints homeowners and small businesses have with the typical contractor or handyman are poor communication, showing up late (or not at all), shoddy workmanship, and leaving a mess.

My name is Troy Hines and I am the owner and operator of Town Toolbox. My wife and I relocated from the concrete jungle of the DFW area to the beautiful East Texas piney woods and small town charm of Jefferson Texas in 2022. Town Toolbox seeks to combine the time honored tradition of the Southern Gentlemen with the Modern Professionalism of the big city. Just because your home or business may be located in a rural area or small town doesn't mean you should expect less than excellent service.

In addition to strapping on a tool belt to do some handyman work or remodeling, we also have the skills and experience to create construction drawings and design your dream home or small business.
