I have enjoyed building and fixing things since I was a kid. Legos were my favorite toy, and MacGyver was my favorite tv show. There are a number of craftsmen in my family line, so I guess it is in my blood.
I love the history and tradition of architecture, and I am keen on preservation. In addition, I keep up to date on the latest technologies especially as it concerns energy efficiency, security, and all the gadgets that can make living in our homes more enjoyable and convenient. I also particularly enjoy gardens and outdoor spaces.
My wife and I love the small town charm of Jefferson, the people here, and the natural beauty of East Texas. We are happy to call it home, and it is the mission of Town Toolbox to improve and strengthen our community one project at a time.
- Bachelors of Science in Architecture from U.T. Arlington

Behind every good man is a great woman keeping the business running.
Excellent customer service has always been my goal in all the work I do, and organization skills are a strength I have cultivated over the years. In fact, I am a professional organizer. I’m also an entrepreneur and run another business, Lacewing Creative Retreat. If you want something done, ask a busy person.
Along with my husband, I have a real passion for creating spaces that are attractive and say “welcome, you will be taken care of here.” I love the outdoors and gardens.
Lastly, I’m not afraid to get my hands dirty, and I’m eager to put on some work gloves and work boots and help my husband complete a project if needed.
